Description
Step back into the dawn of civilization with the 3800 BC Simulator, a free online text-based experience set in the fertile river valleys and open plains of the Neolithic-to-Bronze Age transition. Around 3800 BC, humanity stood at a remarkable turning point: villages were growing into towns, pottery wheels were beginning to spin, copper was being hammered into tools and ornaments, and the first irrigation channels were carrying river water to thirsty fields. This simulator captures the rich texture of that era, from the rhythms of planting and harvest to the emerging questions of leadership, trade, faith, and community that would shape the first great societies. Whether your story unfolds among the reed-lined marshes of southern Mesopotamia, the terraced hills of the Levant, or the early farming settlements along the Nile, the world of 3800 BC is one of discovery, ambition, and the quiet beginnings of everything that followed. It is a setting where ancient traditions meet new ideas, and where the choices of a single community could echo across millennia.
